Aspire essentials: Auditing programmes and projects

Overseeing projects is a key focus for internal auditors. That focus can include auditing a finished product or a project process, providing advice to a project team, or implementing a project. Such projects may comprise the construction of a building, designing a new IT system, implementing a change to a company structure, or developing a new management control.

In this event, presented by our Aspire community and focused on early career auditors, Jon Roe of Ankura will share his experience of helping clients in the infrastructure and construction sector set up their capital programmes for success, transform project performance and execute with confidence.

Following the success of the previous events, we will be continuing the format of a panel discussion to close the event. This will give you the opportunity to pose questions to a panel of professionals consisting of project managers and experienced auditors. You can find out what the project managers might not want the auditors to look into, how internal audit can support the implementation of a project and what you should look out for when doing this.
