How to audit governance
This event will centre on internal audit governance: a key cornerstone of internal audit coverage. The event is practical-focused and will look at how you can build internal audit governance into your audit planning and undertaking of specific governance reviews.
As part of its focus, the event will explore corporate governance - and the degree to which it's been pushed up the agenda by the UK Government's new white paper 'Restoring trust in audit and corporate governance'. The result of it being an opportunity for internal audit to provide assurance that corporate governance arrangements are fit-for-purpose.
Continuing with the theme, the event will ask questions like: Why is effective governance at the heart of a culture? And, how do you practically audit culture? Answers of which will be given by a series of speakers, offering everything from case study examples to tips for making accountability tangible.
