Lean and agile auditing and compliance with IIA standards

A lot is being said about agile ways of working as applied to internal auditing. There is no doubt that these can offer audit teams opportunities to significantly up-grade what they do, delivering more valuable and timely assignments. That said, there are a range of questions about how these new ways of working align with IIA standards. This short webinar looks at some aspects of this question, bringing input from the book “lean auditing”, which addresses several aspects of this challenge, also providing some highlights from the Chartered IIA lean/agile training course.

What will I learn?

  • Lean and agile - whats the same, whats different?
  • Insights around: customer and value; assignment scoping; assignment delivery and reporting
  • Practical implications for your internal audit methodology
  • Ensuring you pay attention to IIA and regulatory requirements

Speaker: James Paterson
