Sustainability reporting assurance

While historically discretionary, sustainability reporting and assurance is increasingly mandated by law or regulation. The global discussions around disclosures are evolving seemingly every day, with major changes to the international standards expected in the aftermath of COP26 in Glasgow. Multiple legislative initiatives are taking shape, from TCFD becoming law in the UK law from April 2022, through EU focus on the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, to the US SEC proposal for an enhanced disclosure regime for US listed businesses.

Our virtual event will focus on characteristics of quality disclosures in the field of sustainability across both financial and non-financial industries. Our speakers will discuss the challenges of meeting demands for confidence in ESG reporting from an assurance perspective. This is a practitioner event and will benefit those with interest in and/or awareness of current sustainability reporting challenges.

The audience will be invited for a live Q&A session following speaker presentations and a panel discussion.
